Rice gratin

Cozy dinner with my daughters and son-in-law 🥰❤️ I had a lot of rice left over so I made a 밥 그라탱, rice gratin with Korean flavours. Was just going to throw something together 😁 It turned out good! 😋 My son-in-law’s comment: ”Korean? You’ve never done that before! 😂🤣

밥 그라탱, rice gratin 4-6 serv.

1 yellow onion, finely diced
1 spring onion, sliced
400 g minced meat or soy mince
3 cloves of garlic, chopped
1 tsp ginger, grated
250 g cabbage, diced
2 tbsp light soy sauce
2 tbsp mirin
1 tbsp sesame oil
2 tsp gochugaru
2 tbsp gochujang
black pepper
1 tsp dried perilla leaves
300 ml water

1 liter cooked rice
2 eggs

2 balls of mozzarella, grated

Preheat the oven to 200°C

Heat oil in a braiser you can put in the oven.
Fry the onions with the mince. Add garlic, ginger and cabbage.
Add seasonin and water, let it cook for 5 mins.

Mix rice with eggs and spread it over the mince-cabbage mix.
Spread the mozzarella over.

Bake in the middle of the oven until golden, 15-20 mins.
